Durante a tarde desta terça, a MTV anunciou pelo Facebook Live os indicados ao Video Music Awards 2016. Esse ano, o VMA será apresentado no domingo, 28 de agosto, direto do Madison Square Garden, em Nova York. Aqui, a MTV Brasil faz a transmissão simultânea do red carpet e premiação.
Esse ano a premiação ganhou uma nova categoria, de "Filme Visual", que inclui Florence + The Machine, Beyoncé, Justin Bieber, Chris Brown e Troye Sivan. Se a ideia pegar, tudo indica, que cada vez mais os artistas vão investir em vídeos mais longos para poderem concorrer em mais uma categoria das premiações.
